Atlas of Gold Fingerprint Maps for Leonora and Laverton

The Atlas of Gold Fingerprint maps for the Leonora and Laverton 1:250K map sheets. This is the second major atlas of gold deposit fingerprint maps and contains a total of 1,386 gold assets as recorded in the MINEDEX database. Fingerprint maps have been generated for each of these assets and are provided as printable PDF files and as GeoTiff files that can be imported easily into GIS and image processing software.

Atlas of Gold Fingerprint Maps for the Kalgoorlie Terrane

A comprehensive digital atlas of gold deposit fingerprint maps has been produced for the 975 gold related assets from the MINEDEX database that fall within the Kalgoorlie Terrane. The maps are based on the regional-scale controls on gold mineralisation that have been identified from a number of prospectivity mapping studies.

The 1:250,000 Swager & Griffin Geology of the Archaean Kalgoorlie Terrane maps provide the base geological information for this analysis.

Based on 14 geological parameters known to have a bearing on the location of known (and hence unknown) gold deposits in the Kalgoorlie Terrane, these fingerprint maps are a useful tool in any gold exploration project in the region.
